Everything displayed in its windows was simply for admiration.

Artinstages.com was born in 2007, when I envisioned an online gallery where visitors could explore my art as if they were stepping into a physical space. Here, there’s no pressure to purchase—just a chance to appreciate some captivating artwork.

My name is Sylvia Gaffney, an artist originally from Manchester, United Kingdom.

I began my journey with oil painting while living in the south of France. Despite being untrained, I fell in love with art when some of my pieces were showcased locally, leading to further exhibitions in southern England.

My art evolves through various stages as I explore different mediums, including oils, acrylics on canvas, pen, pencil, and ink. However, my primary passion lies in creating digital graphics.

Occasionally, I incorporate my drawings or photographs taken from unique perspectives, while other works emerge purely from my imagination, often yielding intriguing results using Paint Shop Pro 2023 and recently, Krita.

Rest assured, my artwork is entirely original and not generated by A.I.

One of my favourite images features a photograph I captured of a crystal rainbow reflecting on a wall.

Many of my pieces take on unexpected forms, often appearing surreal, yet they can evoke powerful imagery on their own.

I’ve been featured in Creative Minds and published art books through Artwanted.com.

Creativity manifests in countless ways and is ever-evolving, but ultimately, it is for you to interpret as art.
